The
Membership is the senior grade of membership and
is equivalent to British Universities Honours
degree. To become a member applicant must have
competence in their occupation or professional
either as an employee or as a self employed
person. Direct entrance to the Membership are
also considered and assessed by the Membership
Committee. It is the function of the assessor to
maintain consistency in the interpretation of the
Membership criteria and to ensure appropriately
high standards of admission. Registered Members
are allowed to describe themselves as "
Corporate Financial Accountant "
and can use designatory letters of ACFA for
Associate and FCFA for
Fellowship respectively. The Fellowship is the
most senior grade membership and will only be
awarded in merit, competence and experience or by
pure discretion of the Council. |
