The
principal objects of the Association are: 1. To provide an organisation for men
and women of education, ability and experience
who desire to qualify as Accountants and secure
professional status.
2. To do such all things from
time to time may be necessary to maintain and
advance the status and interests of the
professional.
3. To encourage and give every
assistance to young persons of good education who
are desirous of entering the profession under the
direction of Members.
4. To protect the mutual
interest of Members.
5. To contribute to the
compilation, collection and publication by
parliament, Government Departments and other
bodies of persons, of literature, statistics and
information relating to the profession.
6. To apply, promote or
petition for and to support any other body of
Accountants in promoting any Act of Parliament,
Royal Charter or other authority in the interest
of the profession.
